How can I buy workbooks?
Who's watching FastForward?
Anyone who lives in Kentucky has access to these four educational programs, available through streaming video so you can watch whenever you want. Streaming technology allows you to start watching right away - with no delay from downloading. And you are still able to move back and forward as often as you like.
If a teacher told you how to find these programs on the KET website, you're probably enrolled in a class, using the workbooks that go with the series. If you're not enrolled but would like to be, contact Kentucky's GED Connection study at home program at 1-800-538-4433. Otherwise, just watch the series because they're interesting and you'll learn a lot.
Why do I have to give my zip code?
Not all states have purchased rights to watch these programs, so putting in your ZIP code lets us know if you're in one of those states. If you're not, you'll get a page with information on some other options.
Are other resources available?
Lots of other resources are available. Kentucky students may want to enroll in GED Connection's study at home program. You can get to a sign up page with more information from our GED Study at Home Program page.
If you don't wish to enroll, you may find the PBS LiteracyLink® website helpful, with lessons to go with Workplace Essential Skills and GED Connection. The GED Connection section includes free half-length GED practice tests you can take to get a feel for the test and see how well you do in each of the five subject areas.
If you're watching the TV411 programs, you'll find more information on the TV411 website.
